Requirements

• High School graduate or equivalent.
• Knowledge of venipuncture techniques.
• Excellent customer service skills with a professional attitude.
• Good keyboarding skills with ability to learn various laboratory application and HHC computer systems.
• Continuous improvement mindset.
• Ability to handle different patient populations including difficult patients.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to operate required lab equipment including pneumatic tube.

Responsibilities

• Collecting venous and capillary blood specimens from patients in a safe and accurate manner according to established lab policies and practices.
• Demonstrating H3W behaviors with a focus on exceptional patient experience and quality service and outcomes.
