About The Position

Located in the Phoenix, Ariz., suburb of Chandler, the Chandler Regional Medical Center is a 429-bed, not-for-profit hospital with more than 2,600 team members and almost 1,000 doctors on staff representing all major specialties. Chandler Regional joined the Dignity Health system in 1999, but has been part of the community for more than 50 years. The hospital includes a Level I Trauma Center, a Heart and Vascular Center, a Wound Healing Center, a Family Birth Center and many additional services. Dignity Health Chandler Regional, Mercy Gilbert, and Arizona General Hospital Mesa awarded $422,000 in grants to support five community projects led by 15 local organizations. Since 1991, Dignity Health's Community Health Improvement Grants program has provided $91 million to nearly 3,800 health projects, focusing on vulnerable and underserved populations. The LABORATORY at Chandler Regional Medical Center is a full service Laboratory offering services in Hematology, Coagulation, Blood Bank, Chemistry, Special Chemistry, Immunology, Urinalysis and a full Microbiology department providing laboratory services for outpatient, inpatient, surgery and a very busy emergency department. The testing personnel are nationally certified laboratory scientists and have completed a bachelor degree program and a year of internship. The Laboratory provides full phlebotomy services with staff in all inpatient and outpatient areas. Our phlebotomy staff have all completed an accredited phlebotomy program and most are nationally certified. Our phlebotomy staff use a state-of-the-art wireless handheld computer to ensure patient safety. JOIN US NOW as we are seeking a dynamic PHLEBOTOMIST SR. who is passionate about the health and well-being of our patients who under the direct supervision of the Phlebotomy Supervisor, obtains and/or prepares specimens for analysis. Located in the City of Chandler, Az, a suburb of Phoenix, this position is critical to the success of Chandler Regional Medical Center and requires the full understanding and active participation in fulfilling the Mission of Dignity Health.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Licensure: Current BLS Healthcare Provider Card

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience in a health-related field
  • Phlebotomy Cert
