Work Schedule: Monday-Thursday 8:00am-5:00pm with 1-hour lunch break Friday 8:00am-12:00pm (no lunch break) Work Location: Macon, GA This is a traveling position split between two client locations: 116 Tommy Stalnaker Drive, Warner Robins, GA 5400 Bowman Road, Macon, GA The role involves working alongside another PST, with Macon designated as the primary location. location. The client's requested weekly schedule is as follows: Monday – Macon Tuesday – Macon Wednesday – Macon Thursday – Warner Robins Friday – Warner Robins Please note: This schedule reflects the client's current preference but may be adjusted based on operational needs. The hours/location may change/vary based on business need and/or the request(s) of your supervisor or management. Float Incentive: Additional $1.00/hr. plus mileage reimbursement.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
Previous experience as a phlebotomist. (2 plus years)
Must have a Valid Driver's License and good driving record
Must be at least 21 years’ old.
Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service
Strong communication skills: both written and verbal
Ability to work independently or in a team environment
Comfortable working under minimal supervision
Reliable transportation and clean driving record if applicable
Flexibility to work overtime as needed
Able to pass a standardized color blindness test.

Nice To Haves

Phlebotomy certification from an accredited agency is preferred.

Responsibilities

Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner.
Process billing information and collect payments when required.
Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
Provide superior customer service to all patients.
Administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
Travel to additional sites when needed.
