About The Position

Reporting to the Practice Manager, this position performs patient blood draws and computer entry of test orders. Works effectively with physicians and other office personnel to troubleshoot problems and maintain laboratory efficiency. Responsible for the maintenance of inventory and ordering of lab supplies. Assists clinical lab scientists as required. Position reports to site Office Coordinator. Phlebotomist, SAMF Primary Care Magnolia - Clovis, Rotating Schedule Including Weekends, Full Time.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or GED is required.
  • State of California Certified Phlebotomy Technician (CPT1) license required.
  • Current American Heart Association (AHA) Healthcare Provider CPR card is required.
  • One year of related work experience, preferably in healthcare environment, is preferred.

Nice To Haves

  • Some college, course work in biology or related field is preferred.
