We’re seeking a dedicated and reliable Phlebotomist to join a Functional Medicine Clinic team! This role is split between two clinic locations and offers a consistent weekday schedule. We invite you to learn more about what makes the Interpath family special by watching this short video: https://youtu.be/iMaXUt6s9rg Physical Requirements: Laboratory setting with automated equipment emitting ambient sounds High level of staff interaction; ability to hear alarms for safety purposes Regular handling of potentially infectious samples with required PPE (lab coat, gloves, goggles, face shield) Ability to sit, stand, bend, kneel, crawl, twist, and walk on uneven surfaces throughout the day Frequent bending, extended standing, and lifting up to 30 pounds Flexibility to work extended hours or overtime as needed OSHA Category: This role involves exposure to blood, body fluids, and/or tissues. Hepatitis-B vaccination is offered to all employees performing these duties.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Minimum of 6 months of on-the-job phlebotomy experience required; candidates with 1 year or more of experience are strongly encouraged to apply
  • Excellent communication skills and a professional bedside manner
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage responsibilities across two clinic sites
  • Dependable, adaptable, and team-oriented

Nice To Haves

  • Strong preference for candidates with a stable work history and minimal employment gaps

Responsibilities

  • Performing venipuncture for blood collection and ensuring a positive, comfortable experience for patients in a functional medicine setting.
  • Preparing, processing, and packaging specimens for laboratory testing while maintaining specimen integrity.
  • Verifying patient and specimen information, completing required documentation, and ensuring accurate data entry.
  • Assisting with front desk draws and basic clinic coordination as needed.
  • Adhering to safety protocols, HIPAA guidelines, Medicare rules, and quality assurance standards.
  • Working between two clinic locations (Boise and Eagle) on a set weekly schedule.
