Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 6 months of previous phlebotomy experience required.
• Demonstrated strong communication skills to effectively engage with patients and collaborate with team members.
• Exceptional attention to detail and unwavering commitment to accuracy in all responsibilities.
• Outstanding organizational abilities to efficiently juggle multiple responsibilities.

• Preference will be given to candidates with a proven track record of consistent employment, demonstrating continuity and minimal career gaps.

Responsibilities

• Providing excellent customer service, answering phones, and monitoring for instrumentation alarms.
• Accurately collect blood and other biological specimens from patients following standard protocols.
• Ensure proper labeling and documentation, prepare specimens for transport to the lab, and conduct preliminary screening tests to support timely and accurate laboratory analysis.
• Verifying specimen information, performing data entry, and properly identifying patient information.
• Receiving, processing, and packaging samples for referral labs while maintaining specimen integrity.
• Following safety protocols, HIPAA policies, Medicare rules, and participating in quality assurance.
• Covering work shifts at different sites as needed to ensure smooth operations.
