About The Position

The primary responsibility of this position is the registration, processing, and distribution of laboratory specimens. The role requires a high school graduate with previous work experience in processing specimens preferred. Familiarity with HIS/LIS computer systems is also preferred. Successful completion of a Clinical Phlebotomy rotation and/or six months of experience in phlebotomy, including micro-collection and butterfly collection on geriatric and neonate/pediatric patients, is preferred. Proof of certification is required if experience is less than six months.

Requirements
