About The Position

The Phlebotomist position at Central Carolina Hospital involves performing venipunctures, skin punctures, and drug screen collections for both inpatient and outpatient areas under the guidance of the Medical Director. Requirements

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Phlebotomy certification is preferred.
• BLS certification required within 30 days of hire.
• Six months of phlebotomy experience in the healthcare field is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform venipunctures and skin punctures for blood collection.
• Conduct drug screen collections for patients.

• Document and report any issues or complications during the collection process.
