About The Position

The Phlebotomist, PRN position at Piedmont Healthcare is responsible for performing venipunctures and obtaining/preparing blood specimens in accordance with Piedmont policies and procedures.

Requirements

• High School graduate or GED
• None required experience
• None required licensure/certification by law

Nice To Haves

• One (1) year of experience as a phlebotomist preferred
• Phlebotomy certification through ASCP, ASPT, NCA or equivalent agency is preferred
• Basic knowledge of venipuncture/phlebotomy is preferred
• Experience working in a hospital preferred

Responsibilities

• Performs venipunctures
• Obtains and prepares blood specimens in accordance with Piedmont policies and procedures
