About The Position
This is a full time position: Monday - Friday, 8am - 4:30pm with rotating Saturday shifts, 7am - 1pm. The role requires strong experience working in a Pediatrics office with Pediatric patients. The essential job functions include using appropriate aseptic techniques to draw blood cultures, processing Stat specimens according to Summit Health SOP, preparing collection containers with appropriate preservatives for patients, and properly collecting various specimens. The position also involves monitoring inventory levels, recalling patients for follow-up procedures, and utilizing LIS for job duties. The general job functions include checking in patients, processing lab specimens, contacting couriers for Stat pickups, and training new staff.
