About The Position

In this role, the Phlebotomist uses approved techniques to collect quality biological samples for laboratory testing from all patient populations (pediatric through geriatric); and performs electrocardiograms (EKG's) for cardiology interpretation, all while focusing on the needs of the patient and exemplifying the service excellence goals of care, concern, respect and cooperation.

Requirements

• High School Diploma plus training acquired through work experience or education.
• One year of solid blood draw experience in a hospital/clinical setting.

Nice To Haves

• CPR must be obtained within 90 days of hire.
• Phlebotomy certification from certifying agencies such as ASPT, NCCT, NHA, or NPA.
