Your impact as a Mobile Phlebotomist is vital. You will assist Vitalant's donor care team in setting up blood drives at locations within a 200-mile range while creating comfortable, convenient, and consistent blood donation experiences for our donors. Every day you will help save lives and have a vital impact on your community. Vitalant is one of the nation's largest nonprofit blood and biotherapies healthcare organizations, providing hospitals and patients across the U.S. a safe blood supply, specialized laboratory services, transfusion medicine expertise and world-renowned research. Vitalant provides blood and special services to patients in more than 900 hospitals across the U.S. and host approximately 60,000 blood drives annually.

Requirements

High School Diploma or GED
Active driver's license with a clean driving record
Ability to travel as required
Able to lift 40 pounds

Responsibilities

Greet donors, keeping them comfortable and informed
Perform blood draws (paid training provided)
Manage accurate and organized donor information
Receive coaching, encouragement, and support from caring managers who are invested your career and success
