About The Position

Responsible for performing phlebotomy and various technical, non-technical, and clerical functions. This job is ON-SITE at Froedtert Men Falls Hospital in Menomonee Falls, WI. The position is part-time with standard hours of 20.00 per week, working 1st shift starting at 0400, with shifts scheduled Monday to Friday varying between 4 or 8 hours. Weekend shifts (every other) are 8 hours starting at 0400 or 0500, with a holiday rotation on 1st shift (8-hour shift).

Requirements

  • Completion of an approved Phlebotomy program or related health care experience including direct patient contact
  • Phlebotomy experience with a minimum of 100 venipunctures preferred
  • High School diploma or equivalent preferred
  • ASCP certification preferred
  • Ability to read and write to comprehend and follow equipment operating instructions and complete required documentation
  • Basic arithmetic calculations necessary to count instruments and complete count sheets
  • Basic computer skills, problem-solving skills, and good communication skills
