About The Position

The Laboratory Receptionist/Phlebotomist receives patients and prepares the necessary paperwork for specimen processing. This position draws blood specimens, tests blood samples, maintains equipment, prepares specimens for shipment, generates lab reports, prepares patient charges, and provides necessary information for patient billing.

Requirements

• Must have High School Diploma or G.E.D.
• Complete CPR certification within 30 days of employment.
• Certified phlebotomist.
• Medical terminology knowledge.
• Phlebotomy experience preferred.

Nice To Haves

• Certified phlebotomist with medical terminology and phlebotomy experience preferred.
