This position is for a Phlebotomist / Lab Assistant in the Endocrinology department, working full-time with a schedule of 8-hour day shifts, Monday through Friday, with no weekends or holidays.

Requirements

• High school diploma or General Educational Development Diploma (GED) preferred.
• Completion of a formal phlebotomy program.
• Phlebotomy experience and experience in a laboratory-related field preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification may be required.

Responsibilities

• Perform phlebotomy and collect biological specimens.
• Prepare and process laboratory specimens.
• Assist in performing laboratory activities and other assigned tasks.
• Enter laboratory orders and results.
• Ensure the accuracy and quality of laboratory data in a safe and professional work environment.
