Requirements

• Current Certified Phlebotomy Technician in Oklahoma.
• Minimum of 2 years of full-time phlebotomy experience in the last 5 years, including venipuncture and blood collection.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Completion of a recognized program of instruction related to teaching.
• Bachelor's degree with at least 12 credit hours in a related field required.
• Two years minimum full-time work experience in the field of teaching, including medical work experience.

Nice To Haves

• Knowledge and work experience in EKG.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive instruction in phlebotomy for aspiring phlebotomists.
• Cultivate a positive, encouraging, and safe learning environment for students during lectures and clinical drawing portions.
• Encourage and support students throughout the program to ensure successful completion.
• Deliver the curriculum in a clear and comprehensible manner.
• Manage onsite inventory and maintain classroom cleanliness.
• Adhere to company policies and procedures, including classroom documentation.
• Maintain productive attendance and timeliness to all scheduled classes.
• Utilize technology effectively, including IPads and troubleshooting.
• Collaborate with the Licensing Director for state audits and licensing paperwork.
