About The Position

Requirements

  • Certified Phlebotomy Technician certification.
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or at least two years of full-time phlebotomy or teaching experience in the last five years.
  • High school diploma or GED is required.
  • 2 years of phlebotomy experience is required.

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge and experience in EKG procedures.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive instruction in phlebotomy for aspiring phlebotomists.
  • Cultivate a positive, encouraging, and safe learning environment for students during lectures and clinical drawing portions.
  • Encourage and support students throughout the program to ensure successful completion.
  • Deliver the curriculum in a clear and easily comprehensible manner.
  • Manage onsite inventory and maintain classroom cleanliness.
  • Adhere to company policies and procedures, including classroom documentation.
  • Maintain productive attendance and timeliness to all scheduled classes.
  • Utilize technology effectively, including iPads and troubleshooting.
  • Collaborate with the Licensing Director for audits and licensing paperwork.
