About The Position

Endeavor Health is seeking a Phlebotomist I for its inpatient department at Edward Hospital in Naperville, IL. This part-time position (0.5 FTE) requires approximately 20 hours of work per week, primarily from 4am to 8am, Monday through Friday, with every other weekend and holiday rotations. The role involves preparing, collecting, logging, and labeling specimens for testing, as well as performing pre-analytical processing and registering patient information in the computer system. The Phlebotomist will also arrange specimens for further processing by laboratory staff.

Requirements

• High School Diploma/GED or higher.
• Completion of a phlebotomy training program including a minimum of 100 clinical training hours.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, collect, log, and label specimens for testing.
• Perform pre-analytical processing/ordering of specimens arriving in the lab.
• Register patient information and orders laboratory tests in the computer system.
• Arrange specimens for further processing by laboratory staff.
