About The Position

Available Inpatient Phlebotomy Positions: Full-Time (80 Hrs Per Pay): M-F 5AM-1:30PM, Every Other Weekend 5AM-1:30PM; 3 Holidays Per Yr Part-Time (8 Hrs Per Pay): Every Other Weekend (Sat & Sun) 4AM-8AM; 3 Holidays Per Yr Part-Time (16 Hrs Per Pay): Every Other Weekend (Sat & Sun) 4AM-8AM; Every Monday; 3 Holidays Per Yr Part-Time (40 Hrs Per Pay): M-F 4AM-8AM, Every Other Weekend 4AM-12:30PM; 3 Holidays Per Yr The Phlebotomist: Performs phlebotomy, point of care testing on multiple platforms and EKG tracings. Correctly identifies patients and handles patient registration. Mains a working knowledge of both the laboratory and hospital information systems and tools. Provides dispatching or coordinating of collections and performs procedures in a standardized, accurate manner with knowledge of the parameters of acceptability and critical limits. Expected to perform other duties as required or assigned. Requirements

  • Post High School Diploma Program - OR - combination of relevant education & experience may be considered in lieu of Post High School Diploma Program
  • Phlebotomy training and/or experience required
  • BLS Certification must be obtained within 60 days of hire date
  • FIT Testing must be obtained within 60 days of hire date
  • PA Drivers License (May vary based on department needs)
