About The Position
The position involves performing patient laboratory test specimen collections, test ordering in the Laboratory Information System (LIS), specimen processing, and handling. The role requires contacting providers and other healthcare professionals to clarify questions and issues related to test ordering and collection. The individual will assume primary responsibility for providing a People First approach to welcoming, helping, and caring for lab patients, visitors, and other members of the patient's healthcare team.
