The Phlebotomist III Site Lead represents the company to patients, drawing quality blood samples and preparing specimens for lab testing while adhering to established practices and procedures. This role involves creating an atmosphere of trust and confidence, explaining procedures, and skillfully, safely, and accurately drawing blood specimens. The Site Lead directs daily activities at a Patient Service Center (PSC) or In-Office Phlebotomy (IOP) and is responsible for leading more than one Patient Service Representative (PSR) on site. They must ensure that daily activities are completed accurately and on time and can provide coverage at multiple locations for various roles. The position requires demonstrating Quest Leadership Behaviors, focusing on process excellence, confidentiality, and accuracy of patient information. Successful candidates may be assigned to work and direct daily activity in a doctor's office, a patient service center, a house call environment, or long-term care. The Site Lead is expected to step in for a PSR II, act as a coach, mentor, instructor, and resource advisor for new employees, provide effective onboarding services, and serve as a point of contact for on-site staff, providing input to the group lead or supervisor. This role may also involve working with high complexity and/or volume practices, requiring outstanding phlebotomy skills and advanced customer-facing abilities, including verbal and written communication, problem-solving, and collaboration with various functions such as Sales, Laboratory Testing Services, IT connectivity, Billing, and Logistics, especially for specialty or complex test orders. The Phlebotomist III Site Lead must be capable of handling multiple priorities in a high-volume setting.
