Phlebotomist II, Full-time, Rotating Weekends

Schedule Full Time, Sun-Sat, variable shifts (morning, evening or night as needed), rotating weekends and holidays. Overview Under moderate supervision, performs venipuncture and capillary puncture to obtain blood samples for various laboratory tests at the Medical Center and off-site facilities. Patients served include Neonate thru Adult-Geriatric.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous phlebotomy experience required.
- The ability to ensure the confidentiality and rights of all patient and departmental documents is required.
- Current CPR certification required.
- Current drivers license with a good driving record required or ability to have own transportation to off-site facilities.
Nice To Haves
- Certification from a nationally recognized Phlebotomy Association such as ASPT or ASCP; or certification from an approved phlebotomy collegiate program preferred.
