About The Position

The Phlebotomist II position is a part-time role located in Leesburg, VA. The working hours are Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM, with rotational weekends. This position involves performing blood draws and other related tasks in a clinical setting.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Certification as a phlebotomist from an accredited program.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a clinical setting.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with electronic health records (EHR).
• Bilingual skills are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood draws and collect specimens from patients.
• Ensure proper identification and labeling of samples.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area.
• Adhere to safety and infection control protocols.
• Assist in training new staff as needed.
