About The Position

The Phlebotomist II receives orders for laboratory testing, collects blood from patients of any age or status and issues appropriate paperwork to the Floyd lab or outside for processing. He/she maintains the laboratory in an efficient working state and performs lab procedures while ensuring quality control.

Requirements

PBT (ASCP) or equivalent
High School Diploma or equivalent
Completion of a formal training program in Phlebotomy
One year experience

Nice To Haves

Inpatient Phlebotomy Experience with morning rounds
Comfortable working with pediatric and geriatric patients
