About The Position

Collect specimens for diagnostic testing that include blood, throat, nasopharyngeal and TB testing. Key accountabilities include performing appropriate patient and specimen identification, maintaining aseptic technique during specimen collection and using correct equipment. Perform clerical activities such as logging in specimens, quick registration, and ordering labs as well as basic processing of specimens such as centrifuging and transferring as directed to support diagnostic testing. May serve inpatient and/or outpatient areas.
