About The Position

Hospital Sisters Health System (HSHS) is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our Lab! Performs basic phlebotomy procedures and specimen collections appropriately for laboratory testing. Understands and maintains thorough knowledge of test sample priorities and requirements. Responsible for clerical duties necessary to maintain high quality and efficient daily operations of the laboratory. Assists with clinical laboratory functions as needed. Position Specifics: Department: Lab Core Function: Laboratory Schedule: PRN need someone who can work either day or evening shift (0400-1230 or 1100-1930). Training will typically last 30 days and be during the day primarily and some on evenings Facility: St. Mary's Hospital Clinic Location: Decatur, IL Compensation that aligns with experience. Shift differentials on top of base rate!

Requirements

  • High school diploma or G.E.D. is required.

Nice To Haves

  • 1 year of phlebotomy experience is preferred.
  • Phlebotomy certificate or equivalent is preferred.
