About The Position

The Phlebotomist I position is a part-time role located in Topsham, ME. The working hours are Monday to Friday from 7:30 AM to 12:30 PM. This role involves performing blood draws and other related tasks in a clinical setting.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Certification in phlebotomy or related field preferred.
• Previous experience in a clinical or healthcare setting is a plus.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with electronic health records (EHR).
• Knowledge of laboratory procedures and protocols.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood draws on patients in a safe and efficient manner.
• Ensure proper identification and labeling of samples.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area.
• Assist in the training of new staff as needed.
• Adhere to all safety and health regulations.
