Requirements

• Certification from phlebotomy course and at least 50 venipuncture preferred.
• At least 6 months of verifiable phlebotomy experience preferred.
• Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Empathy for the needs of patients.
• Effective oral and written communication skills.
• Treats patients and others with courtesy and respect, presenting a positive public image.
• Works well as a team member.

Responsibilities

• Collect and process blood specimens for testing in the laboratory.
