About The Position

Full-time Phlebotomist needed to join our MUSC/Florence, SC team! The position involves drawing and collecting blood samples from patients, verifying records, and preparing specimens for laboratory analysis. Responsibilities may include pricking fingers to draw blood, conducting interviews, taking vital signs, and drawing and testing blood samples to screen donors at the blood bank.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must have 250+ sticks for application consideration.
• Internal candidates must meet Path and Lab ICCE Career Ladder requirements.
• External candidates must complete Path and Lab ICCE Career Ladder requirements within 90 days in position.

Responsibilities

• Draws and collects blood samples from patients.
• Verifies records and prepares specimens for laboratory analysis.
• May prick finger to draw blood.
• Conducts interviews and takes vital signs.
• Draws and tests blood samples to screen donors at blood bank.
