Committed to care, our Phlebotomy Technicians can enter a room and bring comfort, calm, and compassion. Help provide quality patient care by accessioning, processing requisition forms, separating samples, labeling specimens, and distributing specimens to the appropriate laboratory sections for testing. Join a team of highly skilled Phlebotomists in a fast-paced inpatient unit drawing blood for laboratory tests as requested by physicians under established procedures.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Knowledge of principles of infection control and normal anatomy required.
• Customer service skills required.

Nice To Haves

• Phlebotomy Certification from National Phlebotomy Association preferred.
• One year prior venipuncture experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Accessioning and processing requisition forms.
• Separating samples and labeling specimens.
• Distributing specimens to the appropriate laboratory sections for testing.
• Drawing blood for laboratory tests as requested by physicians.
