About The Position

LABTECH DIAGNOSTICS is looking for a dependable and patient-focused Phlebotomist to join our team in a full-time mobile/float role. If you enjoy working with people, staying active throughout your day, and having variety in your work environment, this opportunity offers a great balance of independence and teamwork. In this role, you won't be tied to just one location. Instead, you'll travel between multiple patient service centers and clinics throughout the San Antonio area, supporting staff and ensuring patients receive timely, professional care. This position is ideal for someone who is adaptable, organized, and comfortable working in a fast-paced healthcare setting. As a Phlebotomist with LABTECH DIAGNOSTICS, you will play an important role in the patient experience. You will be responsible for drawing blood and collecting specimens from patients of all ages, from infants to older adults. Just as important as your technical skills is your ability to help patients feel comfortable and informed throughout the process. Clear communication, attention to detail, and a calm, professional approach are essential in this role. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include performing venipuncture and capillary sticks, preparing and labeling specimens, and ensuring all samples are handled safely and accurately. You will also enter patient information into the system, follow all HIPAA and safety guidelines, and occasionally assist with front desk tasks such as patient check-in. Because this is a mobile position, you will need reliable transportation and the ability to move between locations as needed. We're looking for someone who has a high school diploma or equivalent, with phlebotomy training or certification preferred. Previous experience in a clinical or laboratory setting is a plus, but just as important are strong customer service skills and a willingness to learn.
