About The Position

Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist Float to join our team in Dallas/Fort Worth, TX. Work Schedule: Monday – Friday hours will vary between 7am – 6pm, and rotating Saturdays; additional days and hours may be required At Labcorp we have a passion for helping people live happy and healthy lives. Phlebotomist’s may be eligible for participation in the PST Incentive Plan, which pays a quarterly bonus based on performance metrics. Float Incentive: Additional $1.00/hr plus mileage reimbursement

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Phlebotomy certification or completed Phlebotomy training program from an accredited agency or 3 months’ experience as a phlebotomist
• Must have a Valid Driver's License and good driving record
• Must be at least 21 years’ old

Nice To Haves

• 2 years of pediatric and geriatric experience

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner
• Process billing information and collect payments when required
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs
• Provide superior customer service to all patients
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary
• Travel to additional sites when needed
