Work Schedule: Your planned work schedule will be an 8 hour shift Monday - Friday between 7:00a.m. - 5:00p.m. with rotating Saturdays. This is a full time position working 40 hours per week. The hours/location may change/vary based on business need and/or the request(s) of your supervisor or management. Float Incentive: Additional $2.00/hr plus mileage reimbursement PST's may be eligible for participation in the PST Incentive Plan, which pays a quarterly bonus based on performance metrics. Work Location: Northern Indiana to include the cities of South Bend, Mishawaka, Goshen, Angola and Elkhart.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program from an accredited agency or previous experience as a phlebotomist is required
• Must have a Valid Driver's License and clean driving record with reliable transportation
• Must be at least 21 years' old
• Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service
• Strong communication skills; both written and verbal
• Ability to work independently or in a team environment
• Comfortable working under minimal supervision
• Flexibility to work overtime as needed
• Able to pass a standardized color blindness test

Nice To Haves

• 3+ years of phlebotomy experience in an outpatient/inpatient setting is highly preferred

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner
• Process billing information and collect payments when required
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs
• Provide superior customer service to all patients
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary
• Travel to additional sites when needed
