About The Position

Labcorp is seeking a Float Phlebotomist - PRN to join our team for coverage of Patient Service Centers in and around surrounding areas of Denver Metro, CO. 80220.
Work Schedule: Work schedule is PRN Hours during business hours based on business needs.
Business Hours are Monday - Friday 7:00am - 6:00pm, with possible Saturday opportunities.

As a Float Phlebotomist - PRN, you will have the opportunity to quickly gain a vast amount of experience.

QUARTERLY INCENTIVE BONUS PROGRAM : Phlebotomists may be eligible for participation in the Phlebotomy Incentive Plan, which pays a quarterly bonus based on performance metrics.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• In lieu of work experience, a Phlebotomy certification or completed training program must come from an accredited agency
• Coverage for Longmont & surrounding areas
• Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service
• Ability to work in fast paced / high volume work environments
• Able to pass a standardized color blindness test
• Be at least 21 years of age
• Valid Driver's License and clean driving record
• Reliable transportation
• Flexibility to work overtime as needed
• Exceptional customer service
• Strong communication skills; both written and verbal
• Ability to work independently or in a team environment
• Comfortable working under minimal supervision

Nice To Haves

• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program or 3 months or more experience as a phlebotomist

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner
• Process billing information and collect payments when required
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs
• Provide superior customer service to all patients
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary
• Travel to additional sites when needed
