We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Phlebotomist (FGP) - Manhattan, Center for Women's Health. In this role, the successful candidate will perform routine Phlebotomy (specimen procurement), via venipuncture or finger while following established protocol. In this role, the Phlebotomist will be responsible for preparing patients before drawing blood, explain blood draw procedures to patients and answer any questions about the process, gather medical testing materials including needles, sample vials, blood storage bags and test tubes, and verify patient information and label blood samples properly. The FGP Phlebotomist must have working knowledge of the laboratory information system for specimen accessioning, label generation and other computer related operations to facilitate specimen processing.
