program with Spine Center accreditation amongst other specialty services.

A Phlebotomist (CPT) Collects and processes blood specimens for testing in the
laboratory.

Requirements

• Certification from ASCP or NHA Required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) to be obtained within 30 days of hire
• Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.

Nice To Haves

• High School Diploma or equivalent Preferred.
• An approved nationally accredited training course in Phlebotomy Preferred
• Formal Phlebotomy training Preferred

Responsibilities

• Labels, processes and delivers specimens for testing.
• Collects blood specimens using age-appropriate techniques.
• Maintains equipment and medical supplies.
• Assists with coordinating and conducting blood drives, including interviewing and screening donors.
