About The Position

The position involves verifying request and patient information, drawing blood from adult, pediatric, and/or infant patients, and processing specimens according to established procedures and techniques. The role requires adherence to in-process quality control procedures and maintaining related records. Additionally, the individual must remain aware of the patient's emotional and physiological condition and report any abnormal conditions to the appropriate personnel. The position may also involve performing related duties as required.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent, required.
• Minimum of one (1) year Phlebotomy experience OR Phlebotomy/Medical Assistant education program, required.

Nice To Haves

• Certified in Phlebotomy from a National Organization, preferred.
• Knowledge of laboratory computer, preferred.

Responsibilities
