About The Position

Interim Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Phlebotomist to join their team of healthcare workers. This role involves floating between three Ambulatory Labs located in the West Metro area (Bloomington, Chanhassen, and Minnetonka), with the expectation of being at one location per day. As a phlebotomist, the individual will play a crucial role in the diagnosis and treatment of patients and will be a vital member of the healthcare team. Requirements

• One year of phlebotomy experience
• Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills, including appropriate use of English grammar and spelling
• Demonstrated ability to multi-task and function in various different areas of healthcare

Nice To Haves

• Phlebotomy certification preferred
• Experience using Epic Beaker charting software in a clinical/hospital setting is preferred

Responsibilities

• Specimen collection/blood draws, some processing
• Maintaining the lab
• Submitting lab orders to 3rd party vendors and general support
• Strong customer service skills
• Other lab duties as assigned
