About The Position

This role is responsible for executing the plasmapheresis process by performing venipunctures. This is What You’ll Do • Maintain compliance with all state, federal, and industry regulations (e.g., FDA approved SOPs, OSHA, CLIA, GMP). • Ensure preparedness for internal and external audits, leading root cause meetings, drafting corrective action plans, and supporting audit responses to regulatory agencies. • Support quality improvement. • Provide leadership in employee performance management and consistent application of HR policies and procedures. • Collaborate with HR and talent acquisition on recruitment, selection, onboarding, and development of high-caliber talent and new leaders. • Oversee regional financial performance by developing budgets, setting goals with leadership, and implementing corrective actions to meet financial targets. • Lead operational management by guiding Field Quality and Training teams, addressing performance gaps, ensuring KPI achievement, and implementing best practices and special initiatives. • Apply data analytics to assess performance, identify trends, and inform operational strategies; serve as a subject matter expert and liaison to key stakeholders. • Oversee marketing and advertising initiatives. • Manage operational risks and ensure effective issue resolution. • Conduct on-site visits and staff meetings. • Train and provide mentorship to team members. • Perform other duties as assigned. This is What it Takes • Bachelor’s degree preferred. • Five (5) years’ job-related experience in biologics, drug manufacturing, medical device or FDA regulated laboratory facility, including a minimum of one (1) year related experience in a plasma donor center, is preferred. • Three (3) years of supervisory experience. Experience in a matrix organization is preferred.

Requirements

  • Three (3) years of supervisory experience.
  • Ability to sit or stand for extended periods.
  • Ability to tug, lift, and pull up to thirty-five (35) pounds.
  • Ability to bend, stoop, or kneel.
  • Ability to use all required PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) at all times.
  • Occupational exposure to blood borne pathogens.
  • Ability to view video display terminal less than 18” away from face for extended periods.
  • Ability to work in an environment with a temperature of -40C or colder for extended periods.
  • Occasional exposure to and handling of dry ice.
  • Ability to perform precise tasks that require repetitive small motor skills, such as drawing blood for diagnostic tests.
  • Ability to use assistive devices if needed for mobility or communication.
  • Ability to work daytime and evening hours, weekends, holidays, and extended shifts on a frequent basis required.
  • Ability to use a computer and other office equipment.
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
  • Ability to focus and concentrate on tasks for extended periods.
  • Ability to navigate the office environment safely, including stairs and elevators (if applicable).
  • Ability to travel up to 20% via airplane and vehicle (if applicable).
