About The Position

The Philanthropy Officer, Major Gifts is responsible for identifying, cultivating, soliciting, and stewarding individual major gift prospects and donors. This role plays a key part in managing outreach to PIH Health Foundation supporters through personalized communication, including phone calls, letters, and emails; and remain attentive to planned giving opportunities. In addition, this position will manage the PIH Health Foundation's Circle of Excellence donor giving program, ensuring a high level of stewardship and engagement for members through personalized communications, recognition, and exclusive events. This role requires participation in PIH Health and community events to support donor engagement, as well as collaboration with external consultants when needed.

Requirements

• Experience in fundraising or philanthropy, particularly in major gifts.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to build and maintain relationships with donors and stakeholders.
• Experience in event planning and execution.

Responsibilities
