About The Position

Breckenridge Grand Vacations (BGV) is seeking a Philanthropy Manager to manage the day-to-day operations of its philanthropy program. This role involves collaboration with various departments to enhance the company's community impact and philanthropic efforts. Requirements

  • 2 years of philanthropy or non-profit leadership experience required.
  • Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from a four-year college or university preferred.
  • Experience in fundraising, marketing, and/or event management preferred.
  • Advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Must be at least 21 years old with a valid driver license and acceptable driving record.

Nice To Haves

  • Ability to communicate in Spanish is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the development, implementation, and evaluation of all philanthropy programs, including grant-making, sponsorships, and in-kind giving.
  • Work closely with the Sustainability and Employee Engagement teams to enhance community impact and employee satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with the Events Coordinator to execute fundraising events and develop strategies for obtaining donations.
  • Manage grant applications and oversee various BGV funds within The Summit Foundation.
  • Coordinate the Company’s volunteer efforts and promote the Volunteer Time Off (VTO) Program.
  • Create and maintain metrics to track the success of the Philanthropy Program and report on its impact.
  • Support nominations for community awards related to philanthropy.
  • Coordinate philanthropy-related meetings and maintain donor and volunteer contacts.
  • Manage Philanthropy staff, ensuring thorough training and performance evaluations.
  • Develop and manage the annual BGV Gives Program budget.
