About The Position

The Philanthropy Assistant will work directly with the Foundation Director to cultivate, solicit, and steward a portfolio of high-net-worth individuals and corporate partners. This role serves as a bridge between the foundation’s mission and the community of supporters who make it possible. This role requires a sophisticated communicator who can navigate executive environments with ease and represent the Director in their absence.

Requirements

• 3+ years in fundraising, high-end sales, and/or executive relationship management.
• Exceptional writing skills; ability to tell a moving story backed by data.
• Highly organized, discreet, and comfortable interacting with influential figures.

Responsibilities

• Manage a targeted list of mid-to-major gift prospects, ensuring consistent and personalized communication.
• Research prospective donors, prepare briefing materials for the Director prior to meetings, and manage post-meeting follow-ups.
• Represent the foundation at community events, chambers of commerce, and industry conferences to identify new potential partnerships.
