This is a full-time position with no direct customer interaction, guaranteed 40 hours per week, and premium pay for consistent weekends, nights and company holidays worked. CVS Health has an exciting opportunity in Wilkes-Barre, PA for a Warehouse Associate to be a part of our Mail Order Pharmacy team! The Packing/Shipping Technician is essential to ensuring patients receive their medications in a timely manner. As part of the team, you will have an important, uniquely rewarding role putting your skills and experience to work in a closed-door pharmacy setting. You will make a difference by excelling in a complex, high impact dispensing role and positively impacting the lives of others. You will work alongside a team of talented individuals in a concentrated team effort and under the direct supervision of Lead Technicians and Pharmacy Supervisors. The ideal candidate will possess high levels of reliability, accuracy, professionalism, team orientation, and problem-solving skills. As a Product Selection (filling) Technician working in the pharmacy, you will be responsible for all aspects of the filling of mail order prescriptions. You get to manually fill prescriptions, label prepackaged medications, and channel fill for the automated machines. As a backend Product Selection Technician, you get to work directly with the medication and the filling or operations of automated machines. It’s critical that you know how to use a 10 keypad and can lift 40 pounds. As a Product Selection Technician you will be standing for the length of your shift. Good written and verbal communication skills for interacting with all levels of staff is also required.

Requirements

  • Must hold a current, unrestricted license with the Pennsylvania State Board of Pharmacy as a pharmacy technician or trainee on Day 1 of employment
  • Regular and predictable attendance based on our policy
  • The ability to work business required overtime (BROT) when needed
  • Know how to use a 10 keypad
  • Can lift 40 pounds
  • As a Product Selection Technician you will be standing for the length of your shift
  • Good written and verbal communication skills for interacting with all levels of staff is also required
  • Verifiable High School diploma or equivalent

  • Experience in medical, fulfillment center, warehouse or healthcare environments
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and as a team
  • Schedule flexibility for testing support including early starts, late stays and weekend support.
