This full-time Pharmacy Warehouse Associate position in Wilkes-Barre, PA, is part of the Mail Order Pharmacy team, with no direct customer interaction and guaranteed 40 hours per week. The role offers growth opportunities, with starting pay at $17.00 and potential for advancement within 6 months. The Packing/Shipping Technician is crucial for ensuring timely medication delivery to patients in a closed-door pharmacy setting. This high-impact dispensing role requires reliability, accuracy, professionalism, team orientation, and problem-solving skills. The position involves performing daily packing and shipping of prescription orders according to standard operating procedures and may include cross-training in operating automated packing machines, as well as automated and manual drug dispensing, including loading, validation, packaging, and delivery of prescription drug orders. The role works under the direct supervision of Lead Technicians and Pharmacy Supervisors.

Requirements

• Must hold a current, unrestricted license with the Pennsylvania State Board of Pharmacy as a pharmacy technician or trainee on Day 1 of employment
• Regular and predictable attendance based on our policy
• The ability to work business required overtime (BROT) when needed

Responsibilities

• Performing the daily functions of packing and shipping prescription orders in accordance with standard operating procedures
• Operating automated packing machines

• Validation, packaging, and delivery of prescription drug orders
