About The Position

Full-Time Pharmacy Toting Assistant – Join Our Team at Horizon LTC Pharmacy! Horizon LTC Pharmacy is seeking a full-time Pharmacy Toting Assistant to join our team in Grand Rapids, MI. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, supporting pharmacy operations, and contributing to quality patient care. Whether you’re licensed, unlicensed, or just getting started in pharmacy, we provide training, support, and opportunities for growth. We start unlicensed team members at $16/hour, with a $2 merit increase upon becoming licensed. We also offer a structured licensing process to help employees advance their careers in pharmacy. Your New Role as Our Pharmacy Toting Assistant As a full-time Pharmacy Toting Assistant, you will support pharmacy operations by assisting with medication preparation, organization, and workflow. You’ll work closely with pharmacists and technicians to ensure orders are handled accurately and efficiently. Responsibilities may include preparing and organizing medications for delivery, labeling and sorting items, checking expiration dates, and assisting the pharmacy team with daily operational tasks to ensure smooth and timely patient care. Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Strong attention to detail and reliability
  • Ability to follow procedures and comply with pharmacy regulations
  • Basic computer skills
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Commitment to patient confidentiality
  • Willingness to learn and grow within the pharmacy
  • No prior pharmacy experience required—we provide training for motivated candidates.

Nice To Haves

  • Michigan Pharmacy Technician License or eligibility for the licensing program (preferred, not required)
