About The Position

The Pharmacy Technology Client Liaison is an IT professional with hands-on experience as a computer support technician and a clear understanding of the pharmacy process. This role involves communicating appropriately and timely in the delivery of services detailed in various Scopes of Work. SECURITY REQUIREMENTS: Security Clearance required per site/correctional facility requirements.

Requirements

  • Associate’s degree in information technology or related field.
  • Equivalent experience in an outpatient or retail pharmacy setting may be substituted for Associates degree.
  • Certified Pharmacy Technician certification required.
  • Specialized experience that includes working knowledge of pharmacy (retail, Skilled Nursing and/or acute care) with front end and backend fulfillment processes.
  • 1-2 years’ experience in project management, a plus.

Nice To Haves

  • Understanding of Software Maintenance Process and testing capabilities
  • Experience in creating training and workflow documentation
  • Familiarity with Pharmacy Benefit Management (PBM) processes and healthcare interface standards such as HL7, NCPDP D.0, and ASAP 4.2B is desirable

Responsibilities

  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with vendors, partners and clients.
  • Monitor and report upon Service Level Agreements
  • Coordinate and collaborate with system upgrades and other implementations.
  • Create project plan for system changes.
  • Assist in management and escalation for Help Desk requests.
  • Troubleshoot system issues.
  • Assist with maintenance of servers and printers.
  • Training for new users and changes to systems
  • Document system changes and create such training materials as are necessary.
  • Promptly report any allegations of impropriety to the Compliance Department.
  • Comply with Maxor’s Ethical Business Conduct policy and Maxor’s Compliance Program.
  • Remain free from exclusion under the OIG and SAMS Medicare/Medicaid lists.
  • Complete required training, as assigned, within the established timeframes.
  • Must be able to cope with the mental and emotional stress of the position.
  • Maintain regular attendance in accordance with established policies.
  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
