About The Position
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Pharmacy Technician to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will assist in providing exceptional patient care while working in a fast-paced pharmacy setting. This role is responsible for supporting the pharmacy staff in preparing and dispensing medication, ensuring accurate records, and maintaining a clean and organized work environment. The Pharmacy Technician will play a crucial role in the daily operations of the pharmacy, contributing to the overall efficiency and effectiveness of patient care services. In this position, the Pharmacy Technician will assist the pharmacy team in the preparation and dispensing of medications, which includes accurately measuring, mixing, and packaging medications as per prescriptions. The technician will also maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including medication lists and treatment plans, ensuring that all information is documented correctly and in compliance with pharmacy regulations. Participation in patient service and patient care activities is essential, which includes providing education and communication to patients regarding their medications and treatment plans. The role requires demonstrating aseptic technique when handling medications, equipment, or supplies to ensure patient safety and compliance with health standards. The Pharmacy Technician will support the pharmacy team in maintaining a clean and organized work environment, adhering to hospital and pharmacy standards. Collaboration with the pharmacy team to address medication-related issues and ensure compliance with pharmacy policies and procedures is also a key responsibility of this position.
