About The Position

As a Pharmacy Technician, you will be an integral part of a team dedicated to supporting pharmacies, pharmacists, and the communities they serve. Your role involves creating an easy, friendly, and exciting pharmacy experience for patients, making the pharmacy a welcoming place for friends, family, and neighbors to obtain their prescriptions. This position offers significant potential for growth, including opportunities for proper training and mentoring to enable you to promote and administer immunizations (where legally permitted) to enhance patient safety within the community. Albertsons offers comprehensive training to become a pharmacy technician, including classes from their pharmacy learning and development team, instruction on the pharmacy computer system, and hands-on training with experienced teams.

Responsibilities

  • Be a member of a team supporting our pharmacies, pharmacists, and communities
  • Create an easy, friendly, and exciting pharmacy experience for your patients
  • Make our pharmacy a great place for your friends, family, and neighbors to get their prescriptions
  • Promote and provide immunizations (where allowed by law) to help keep our patients safe in the communities we serve
