With more than half of the 259 beds in our teaching hospital devoted to intensive care level services, we are the regional pediatric referral center for Florida's west coast. Physicians and community hospitals count on us to care for critically ill patients and perform complex surgical procedures. The pharmacy technician's purpose is to assist in the preparation, compounding, packaging, distribution, and delivery of medications to JHACH patients. Contributes to the goals of the department by being accountable for the delivery and coordination of patient medications at a demonstrated level of safe practice as defined by the Florida State Board of Pharmacy and JHACH policy. Along with other members of the Pharmacy, is responsible for providing medications to meet high standards of patient care provided by JHACH.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Florida Board of Pharmacy Registered Pharmacy Technician
- Authorization to Work in the United States:â¯Applicants who require sponsorship now or in the future will not be considered for this position.
