The only thing missing is you! Assists pharmacists in the preparation, distribution, and storage of medications in accordance with physician orders, hospital policy, and regulatory standards. Supports medication dispensing through automated systems (e.g., cabinets, carousels, robotics), unit dose packaging, cart fill, and medication delivery processes. Assists with inventory management including receiving, stocking, rotating, and documenting medications and supplies. Performs assigned tasks related to sterile and non-sterile compounding. Maintains accurate records and documentation as required. All duties are performed under the supervision of a registered pharmacist. Contributes to the effective and safe operation of the Pharmacy Department by demonstrating attention to detail, adherence to medication safety practices, and compliance with infection control and hazardous drug handling procedures. Demonstrates the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and adapt to frequently changing workflows. Availability to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as part of a 24-hour department. Demonstrates professionalism and effective communication when interacting with pharmacists, nurses, providers, patients, and other hospital staff. Demonstrates the ability to respond appropriately in stressful situations and to handle conflict in a respectful and constructive manner. Performs all job duties as assigned and complies with all applicable federal, state, and accrediting body regulations, including requirements of the Montana Board of Pharmacy, USP standards (e.g., <795>, <797>, <800> as applicable), and hospital policies and procedures. Must comply with all Benefis Health System organizational policies and departmental procedures. Education/License/Experience Requirements: High School diploma or the equivalent. License in the State of Montana as Certified Pharmacy Technician, or current license as a Registered Intern with the Montana Board of Pharmacy. Pharmacy technician experience preferred. Requirements

  • High School diploma or the equivalent.
  • License in the State of Montana as Certified Pharmacy Technician, or current license as a Registered Intern with the Montana Board of Pharmacy.
